November Home Sales and Property Prices in Torrance CA

Torrance real estate recap for November 2023

Home sales in Torrance  had a bit of a slow down in terms of both the number of homes that sold as well as the prices that they sold for.

There were 60 closed Torrance home sales in November compared to 71 in October and 90 in September.

The average “listing” price  was $990,362 with the average sales price at $1,012,100 which was healthy dip from the October average sold price of $1,100,411.

Homes averaged $689 a square foot and the average days on market was 37 before homes went into escrow or “pending” status.

Torrance Home Sales in October Average Over $1.1M!

Torrance real estate recap for October 2023

Welcome to the month that was for real estate in Torrance California. 

October was a bit slower in terms of the number of homes that sold, but the prices that they sold for were very impressive.

There were 71 homes that sold compared to 90 home sales in September

The average “asking” price  was a very impressive $1,072,892 with the average sold price at $1,100,411 which was a nice jump from the $1,034,044 in September and a similar number in August.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in October was $720 and the average days on market was a very brief 21 before going into escrow. That’s about half the time it takes for a home to sell in the surrounding communities.

It was another solid month for home sales in Torrance CA with 87 closed escrows during July 2023.  That was very similar to the prior month that saw 89 homes sell and close escrow.

Listing prices averaged a very impressive $1,003,348 with the average sold price at $1,023,077 meaning that homes generally sold well above the asking price.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in May was $697 and the average DOM was 25 before going into escrow.

Torrance real estate recap for June 2023

Welcome to the month that was for home sales and home prices in Torrance California. 

After a very slow first few months of the year things definitely heated up in the market for summer.   There were  89 on market home sales during June 2023 which was a bit more than the 80 sales in May and more than double the homes that sold in January and February of this year.

The average list price  was a very impressive $1,028,725 with the average sold price at $1,059,573 meaning that homes generally sold over the asking price.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in May was $665 and the average days on market was a brief 20 before going into escrow.

Torrance Real Estate May Update – By the Numbers

Welcome to the real estate review for the month of May in Torrance California. Torrance homes for sale What a month it was for both home sales and home price in Torrance  with 117 homes, townhomes and condos closing escrow compared to only 48 in May of 2020.  Another 116 went into escrow during the month and these are huge numbers.  The only problem is that inventory isn’t keeping up and new active listings was way down with only 68 active listings.  The median sold price was an impressive $,99,000 and sold homes averaged only 17 days on market before going into escrow.  See how it compares with other months on our Torrance real estate trends and statistice pageClick here to view the homes that sold during the month.

November 2022 Real Estate Update for Torrance

Real estate market in Torrance slowed a bit in November in terms of the number of homes that sold but home prices continued to impress.  There were only 61 homes that closed escrow during the month which was down from 76 in October and 86 sales in September.  Compared with the peak summer month of 112 homes that sold in July and you can see how slow the market was.

The average “list” price  was a very impressive $981,14 with the average sold price at $972,692 which was down a bit from October’s average price of $1,045,073.

The average price per foot for the month was $636 which was slightly lower than in October. The average days on market was a short 32 before going into pending status.
