The real estate market in Torrance had a second month in a row of slower sales numbers but the prices of the homes that sold continued to be  impressive.  

76  homes that closed escrow during the month which was down from the 86 sales in September and way below the peak summer month of July 2022 with 112 homes that sold.

The average “asking” price for the homes that sold was  $1,048,419 with the average sold price at $1,045,073 meaning that homes generally slightly below full price. 

The average price per foot for the month was $695 which was slightly higher than in September. The  real estate was a slower month for both the number of homes that sold and the prices that they sold for.  There were 86 homes that closed escrow during the month which was only slightly lower than August but really down from the 112 homes that sold in July. The average “list” price for the homes that sold during August was a very impressive $1,006,455 with the average sold price at $1,005,076 meaning that homes generally slightly below full price for the 2nd month in a row. The average price per foot for the month was $688. July 2022 home sales in Torrance  was a huge month for both the number of homes that sold and the prices that they sold for.  There were 112 homes that closed escrow during the month.  That was a really solid month and was up slightly from the 111 homes that sold in June.

The average “list” price for the homes that sold during July was a very impressive $1,001,726 with the average sold price at $1,023,607 meaning that homes generally sold over the list price.

Torrance Home Prices and Property Sales in June

Torrance real estate – See the homes that sold During June

June 2022 was another very impressive month in Torrance CA for both the number of home sales as well as the prices that they sold for.  We saw 111 homes  close escrow which was up slightly from the 109 homes that sold in May.

The average “listing” price for the homes that sold during June 2022 was a very impressive $1,013,623 with the average sold price at $1,063,298 meaning that homes generally sold well over the initial asking price.

The top Torrance home sale of the month was for an oceanfront single family home in the Hollywood Riviera at 517 Paseo De La Playa that closed at an impressive $7,050,000. (despite the Redondo Beach address homes in the Hollywood Riviera are in Torrance)
