November 2021 Home Sales in Torrance
Welcome to the November 2021 homes report for the city of Torrance California. It was a great month in terms of both the amount of actual sales that closed escrow as well as the prices. We saw a significant number of homes that sold with 104 on market home, condo and townhome sales closing during the month.
The “list” price of the homes that closed escrow during the month averaged at $907,023 with the average “sold” price at $940,974. This meant that homes generally sold considerably over the list price.
Homes averaged a very short 18 days on the market before going into escrow with a median DOM of only 9 days.

Torrance Housing Inventory Near and All Time Low
Only 51 Homes for sale in all of torrance as of Thanksgiving day
The latest numbers in the Torrance real estate market are not good for those eager home buyers waiting for demand to wain. Each month in 2021 both closed home sales and new escrows are at peak numbers but “new” listings just can’t keep up with the seemingly never ending demand.
As of October 25th there are only 51 active listings on the MLS in all of Torrance which is a near historic low. Last October there were 88 homes for sale which was historically lower than normal. October was a great month for home sales in Torrance CA with 114 on market property sales closing. The average “list” price was $970,773
with the average “sold” price at $1,011,306 meaning that homes generally sold WAY higher than the asking price. Average days on market was a very short 17 before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $661.
