Torrance CA real estate recap

October was a great month for home sales and home sellers in Torrance CA with 112 on MLS property sales closing.  Unfortunately this isn’t great news for home buyers with only 51 current homes for sale in all of Torrance.  The median sold price was $950,000 and the average “sold” price topped $1,000,000.  Average days on market was a very short 15 before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $636 . Torrance Housing Inventory Near and All Time Low

Only 51 Homes for sale in all of torrance as of Thanksgiving day

The latest numbers in the Torrance real estate market are not good for those eager home buyers waiting for demand to wain.  Each month in 2021 both closed home sales and new escrows are at peak numbers but “new” listings just can’t keep up with the seemingly never ending demand.

As of October 25th there are only 51 active listings on the MLS in all of Torrance which is a near historic low.  Last October there were 88 homes for sale which was historically lower than normal.    See the Torrance real estate trends and market statistics over the past 15 months to see just how low that is in comparison.

Big Month For Torrance Home Sales in August

See the homes that sold in Torrance CA

It’s time to take a look at the month that was for the real estate market in Torrance.    It was another HUGE month for home sales in the South Bay’s biggest city with an amazing 124 on market home sales. The average list price was $922,709 with the average sales price of $978,940 meaning homes sold WAY above the asking price. Homes averaged a very brief 13 days on market before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $656.
