Torrance real estate recap for June 2023
Welcome to the month that was for home sales and home prices in Torrance California.
After a very slow first few months of the year things definitely heated up in the market for summer. There were 89 on market home sales during June 2023 which was a bit more than the 80 sales in May and more than double the homes that sold in January and February of this year.
The average list price was a very impressive $1,028,725 with the average sold price at $1,059,573 meaning that homes generally sold over the asking price.
The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in May was $665 and the average days on market was a brief 20 before going into escrow.

What a month it was for both home sales and home price in Torrance with 117 homes, townhomes and condos closing escrow compared to only 48 in May of 2020. Another 116 went into escrow during the month and these are huge numbers. The only problem is that inventory isn’t keeping up and new active listings was way down with only 68 active listings. The median sold price was an impressive $,99,000 and sold homes averaged only 17 days on market before going into escrow. 

Torrance. This is a top floor end unit so the location is ideal. The plan 4 layout offers double master suites. The condo has an abundance of upgrades including granite counters, stainless-steel built-in appliances & recessed lighting in the kitchen, remodeled bathrooms and more. Windemere is a gated complex and the numerous amenities include a resort like pool, several jacuzzies, communtiy club house, fitness center, game room, racquetball courts, saunas, and 24-hour security.
