November 2022 Real Estate Update for Torrance

Real estate market in Torrance slowed a bit in November in terms of the number of homes that sold but home prices continued to impress.  There were only 61 homes that closed escrow during the month which was down from 76 in October and 86 sales in September.  Compared with the peak summer month of 112 homes that sold in July and you can see how slow the market was.

The average “list” price  was a very impressive $981,14 with the average sold price at $972,692 which was down a bit from October’s average price of $1,045,073.

The average price per foot for the month was $636 which was slightly lower than in October. The average days on market was a short 32 before going into pending status.

The real estate market in Torrance had a second month in a row of slower sales numbers but the prices of the homes that sold continued to be  impressive.  

76  homes that closed escrow during the month which was down from the 86 sales in September and way below the peak summer month of July 2022 with 112 homes that sold.

The average “asking” price for the homes that sold was  $1,048,419 with the average sold price at $1,045,073 meaning that homes generally slightly below full price. 

The average price per foot for the month was $695 which was slightly higher than in September.
