See the June home sales in Torrance California and the closed prices that they sold for.

June was a very solid month for the Torrance real estate market in terms of both the number of homes that sold as well as sold prices.  The number of closed home sales declined slightly from the peak months of May and April, but average home prices were up…..and topped the $1.0M mark once again.

There were 81 closed sales in June which was down a bit from the 100 that sold in both May and April, but  the average sale price was $1,118,389.  That was up from an already impressive May with an average of  $1,106,942 in May.

What a month it was for home sales and prices in Torrance

100 Homes Sell in Torrance During April 2024

Average Home Price in Torrance at $1,032,213

April was a pretty huge month for home sales in Torrance with 100 homes closing escrow during the month.  That was the highest number we’ve seen in some time.  

The real estate market in Torrance was extremely strong in terms of the number of homes that sold and quite impressive in terms of the prices that they sold for.

The Torrance real estate market jumped up considerably with 100 homes selling during April compared with 89 in March, 69  in February and a very slow January with only 48 sold homes.

The average “asking” price  was $1,003,938 with the average sold price at an impressive $1,032,213 which was down from March’s average of $1,132,878 but up from February and January

Golden Hills Homes Redondo Beach - Armour Lane

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in April was $696 which was a decrease from March.   Homes that sold averaged a very short 24 days on market before going into escrow.  That was quite a bit shorter than most other South Bay cities.

December Home Sales in Torrance – 64 Closed Escrows

Take a look at the 64 Homes that sold in Torrance

64 Homes Sell at an average price of $918,680

Real estate in Torrance during December was a bit slower for the second month with only 64 homes last month.  That was expected as December is historically the slowest month of the year.   Compare that with 60 home sales in November,  71 in October and 90 in September.

The average “listing” price  was $915,065 with the average sold price at $918,680 which was very similar to November but down from the  very impressive October average sales price of $1,100,411.

Homes averaged $657 a square foot and the average days on market was 24 before going into escrow.

102 Home Sales in Torrance in August with Avg over $1.0M!

Torrance real estate recap for August 2023

August was a fantastic month for both the number of homes that sold and the prices that they sold for.  There were 102 on market home sales compared with a very solid 87 in July and 89 in June.

According to Torrance real estate specialist Keith Kyle with Vista Sotheby’s, this was the biggest month for the number of closed escrows since July of 2022.

The average “asking” price  was a very impressive $1,016,187 with the average sold price at $1,043,586 meaning that homes generally sold well above the asking price.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in August was $685 and the average days on market was an EXTREMELY brief 23 before going into pending status. Median days on market were only 11!
